Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team in New Brighton. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals. This is a non-exempt, hourly role.

You will educate patients/residents, staff, and consultants, follow dietetics standards, and collaborate with other departments to improve dining services and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to educate patients and staff on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
