Job summary

Cura-Hospitality in New Brighton, MN is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and help maintain nutritional status to enhance quality of life.

This full-time, onsite role requires familiarity with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, state licensing, and ability to educate staff and residents on nutrition.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets eligibility for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
