Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for the John J. Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh to assess nutritional needs and implement interventions that support residents' health and quality of life.

You will work with a healthcare team to educate patients, residents and staff while adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements. This full-time onsite role offers strong growth within Cura-Hospitality brands.

Qualifications

• Passes a national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR portfolio process.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning and resident rights.
• Ability to educate others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
