Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for the John J. Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh.

You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and work to maintain nutritional status while improving residents' quality of life aligned with their goals. You will provide nutrition expertise to the care team, educate patients and staff, and ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
