Elior Living in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott. You will identify and assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support residents' quality of life.

You will educate staff and residents, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Must be licensed or certified, pass the CDR exam, complete CE hours, and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Passed CDR national exam or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate actively in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
