Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance residents' quality of life aligned with goals.

You will educate the care team, follow dietetics standards, and collaborate across departments to improve nutrition services and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination by the CDR or eligible for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients and staff.
• Adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for nutrition services.
• Contribute to development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
