Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to guard mission-critical systems and respond to threats. You will work in our Security Operations Center, triaging detections, performing incident response, and collaborating with engineering teams to harden defenses.

You will develop detection capabilities, improve endpoint and network visibility, and help safeguard SpaceX people, missions and assets. On-site only; extended hours and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security, networking and/or systems engineering experience; or 7+ years with no degree.
• Experience auditing Linux/Windows/macOS internals.
• Experience with network and host-based collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, triage, and remediate security detections as SOC frontline responder.
• Investigate incidents from detection to root cause.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve and secure systems.
• Contribute to detection capabilities against attacker TTPs.
• Enhance endpoint and network visibility, and response playbooks to protect SpaceX people, missions, and assets.
