Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Security Analyst (Threat Detection) to join the onsite Redmond, WA team. You will act as frontline responder for SOC, triaging detections, and remediating threats to protect SpaceX missions and assets.

You will investigate incidents from detection through root cause, collect evidence, and coordinate with engineering to harden systems. Strong SIEM and scripting skills are essential for proactive defense.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security, networking, or systems engineering, or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience with OS internals and auditing Linux, Windows, or macOS.
• Experience with network and host-based collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Backline SpaceX SOC as frontline responder by triaging and remediating detections.
• Investigate incidents from initial detection through root cause and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve security and deter future attacks.
• Enhance endpoints, network visibility, and create response playbooks.
