Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst (Threat Detection) to join our Security Operations Center. You will analyze threats, triage detections, and respond to incidents to protect SpaceX environments, missions, and assets.

This role requires 5+ years in information security (or 7+ years with no degree), auditing Linux/Windows/macOS, and experience with Elastic or Splunk SIEMs. Onsite in Redmond, WA; extended hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security, networking or systems engineering with a relevant degree
• Experience auditing Linux/Windows/macOS
• Experience with network and host-based collection tools

Responsibilities

• Identify, triage, and remediate security detections and anomalies.
• Investigate incidents from detection to root cause.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to secure systems against future attacks.
• Develop and improve detection capabilities against TTPs.
• Enhance endpoint and network visibility and playbooks.
