Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to defend critical systems and our brand. You will join the SOC, analyze incidents from detection to root cause, and partner with engineering to improve security posture across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years in information security or 7+ years with no degree, and hands-on experience with OS internals, SIEMs, and scripting for automation. Onsite in Redmond, with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security, networking and/or systems engineering with a STEM degree; or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience with operating system internals and auditing for Linux, Windows, or macOS.
• Experience with network and host-based collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the SpaceX Security Operations Center as frontline responder by triaging and remediating detections and anomalies.
• Investigate security incidents from initial detection through root cause.
• Collaborate with SpaceX engineering teams to proactively improve and secure systems.
• Develop impactful detection capabilities for attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Enhance endpoint and network visibility and playbooks to protect SpaceX people, missions, and assets.
