Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an entry-level assembler for its onsite facility in Wilson, NC. You will learn to set up and assemble parts, demonstrate safe use of hand and machine tools, and read detailed procedures to produce quality components.

The role emphasizes meeting deadlines and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This first-shift position offers standard production hours, onsite collaboration, and opportunities to gain certifications while contributing to mission-critical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions.
• Experience with hand tools and basic machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts for production.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Maintain quality standards and meet customer deadlines.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assemble small electronic components to printed circuit boards.
