Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is seeking an Onsite Manufacturing Technician to join our assembly team. You will learn to set up, assemble, and load parts, using hand and machine tools, and follow procedures to produce quality aerospace components.

The role requires a HS diploma (or equivalent) and manufacturing experience is preferred. CRC certification is a plus; overtime may be required, and safety is a priority as you participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting around machine set up and function.
• Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
• Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
• Able to identify part defects and elevate as needed.
• Responsible for building parts that meet customer deadlines and expectations while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
