Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Quality Manager for our Fremont, CA site to lead the quality function, maintain systems, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure durable product performance.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, mentoring, and implementing quality controls from design to production, including supplier quality and compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality-related roles
• Solid understanding of Quality Systems, Methods, and SPC
• Understanding of ITAR, PPAP, ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9001
• Knowledge of quality principles in a Lean Manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to act as a change agent through collaboration and influence
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including setting priorities and driving results
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and tools; Green/Black Belt a plus
• Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Establish a quality system continuous improvement program
• Own the problem-solving process for quality and drive usage through quality team
• Drive quality direction for new product development and commercialization
• Establish and maintain CTQ specs, test plans, procedures, tools, and metrics
• Lead resolution of customer complaints with cross-functional teams
• Oversee RMA processes for efficient handling of returns
• Qualify new suppliers and materials and resolve supplier quality issues
• Train and mentor team members on quality best practices and compliance
• Collaborate with OEM customers to improve quality and supplier ratings
• Champion a quality culture across the plant
