The Marvin Group, a defense contractor based in Southern California near LAX, is hiring a QC inspector for an on-site role in Inglewood. You will perform inspections, document results, and report findings in SAP to ensure MEC requirements are met.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year in QC inspection, basic GD&T knowledge, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with SAP and MS Office is a plus; lifting up to 35 lbs may be required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a QC inspector.
• Certifications in GD&T or ASQ topics are a plus.
• Quality Assurance certificates are a plus.
• Beginner understanding of hardware blueprints and tolerances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform basic math and basic computer tasks.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Able to work well in a team and learn quickly.
• SAP familiarity and MS Office proficiency are a plus.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent inspections to ensure compliance with MEC requirements and drawings.
• Document inspection results and report findings in SAP.
• Review non-destructive test and supplier documentation.
• Generate inspection reports per MEC policy.
• Identify non-conforming material and issue Quality Notifications.
• Perform first piece validations across manufacturing areas.
• Witness and validate fastener applications, including torque and rivets.
• Support Receiving and In-Process Inspection.
• May perform higher level inspections under supervision; intro to GD&T.
• Interface with suppliers and internal customers.
