Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California near LAX seeks a Quality Control Inspector to inspect products for MLS processes, procedures, and contractual obligations. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections and use inspection equipment and GD&T concepts on aerospace components.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in QC inspection, reading drawings, and experience in an aerospace/defense environment; SAP MRP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• 5–10 years minimum as QC inspector.
• Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of GD&T concepts and algebra/trigonometry.
• Must read/write/speak English and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform program independent inspections to ensure compliance.
• Inspect documentation, hardware, assembly, and tests.
• Measure with micrometers, gages, and optical tools.
• Interpret GD&T on drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and customers.
