The Marvin Group in Inglewood, CA is seeking a QC Inspector to perform thorough product inspections and ensure conformity to MEC requirements. This 100% onsite role involves documenting results in SAP and collaborating with the quality team.

Ideal candidates have GD&T certification, 5 years of QC experience, and strong communication skills. Training and growth opportunities within MEC, MTS, MLS across defense programs and suppliers.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• GD&T certification and/or 3 years of GD&T inspection experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a QC inspector.
• ASQ topics or engineering degree a plus.
• Experience reading hardware blueprints and specs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform basic math and use 3D model inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent inspections and verifications to ensure MEC compliance.
• Visually inspect mechanical assemblies, soldering and paint finishes.
• Review non-destructive test and supplier documentation per MEC PO.
• Generate inspection reports according to MEC policy.
• Identify non-conforming material and generate Quality Notifications.
• Perform first piece validations across manufacturing areas.
• Witness and validate fastener applications (torque, rivets, sealants).
• Support receiving and in-process inspection; interface with suppliers/customers.
• May perform higher-level inspections under supervision; 3D model aided inspection.
