Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager for an on-site apartment community in San Jose, CA. The role leads a resident services team and drives day-to-day operations at Riverview (1308 units), ensuring customer service standards are consistently met.

The position oversees hires, training, and performance, resolves resident escalations, maintains SOP-compliant processes, and pursues efficiency through technology adoption across the property.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce, RealPage or Coupa is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of team members, ensuring established performance metrics and objectives are achieved.
• Provides excellent customer service by anticipating customer’s needs, taking ownership and resolving questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Supervises and ensures community common areas, grounds and vacant units are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards.
• Oversees and ensures the timely completion of all administrative resident services tasks and resident retention activities ensuring they are accurately documented in the appropriate operating platform.
• Ensures audit compliance to Standard Operating Policies/Procedures (SOPs).
• Executes administrative accounting processes for the operating unit.
• D drives efficiency by adopting and maximizing the use of new and existing technologies.
