Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for Estancia/Solana in Irvine, CA. The role requires on-site living, with a Tue–Sat 9am–6pm schedule and on-call duties to support two communities and maintenance teams.

You will coordinate staff and contractors, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure safe, well-maintained grounds and buildings while delivering strong resident service.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Core and Type II certification required.
• On-site living, Tue–Sat 9am–6pm with on-call.
• 2–5 years of relevant maintenance or property experience.
• Ability to communicate in English; multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains community common areas and grounds to company standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly.
• Oversees team productivity through service requests and repairs.
• Provides hands-on training and field guidance to staff.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed.
• Maintains organized maintenance shop and parts inventory.
