Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site in Lithonia, GA. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on management of maintenance, budgets, and resident relations to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor rent collections and reporting.
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure timely maintenance and resident satisfaction.
• Manage leasing, marketing plans, and resident retention programs to maximize NOI.

Education
