Job summary

EJF Real Estate Services seeks an Onsite Property Manager in Washington, DC to lead daily residential operations onsite. You will be the primary contact for residents, boards, staff, and vendors, ensuring safe, compliant, and well-run communities.

The role covers resident relations, building operations, governance support, compliance, financial administration, and maintenance coordination. Must be bilingual, with 3+ years in on-site property management and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication required.
• At least three years of residential property management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to organize competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to supervise employees, direct vendors, and hold others accountable for results.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite contact for residents, Board members, employees, vendors, and community partners.
• Oversee daily building activity and supervise maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Support Board meetings with materials, reports, and documentation; maintain records and follow directives.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and governing documents; coordinate inspections.
• Assist with annual operating budget, financial statements, and deposits.
• Conduct regular inspections, manage work orders, repairs, and vendor follow-up.
