Job summary

Chapman Management Group seeks a Property Manager (bilingual English-Spanish) to lead on-site teams, manage leasing, and maintain high occupancy at assigned properties in the Washington DC area. You will supervise staff, coordinate budgets, and ensure compliance with housing regulations.

The role requires a strong background in property management, 2+ years of experience, and a willingness to travel between properties. A valid driver’s license is necessary and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certifications in Housing Credit or related housing management are preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-family property management and supervision.
• Proven marketing and leasing experience for occupancy goals.
• Experience with affordable housing preferred and Entrata proficiency is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Entrata experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site personnel, provide guidance, and supervise staff performance.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop associates; conduct annual reviews.
• Plan and coordinate leasing, occupancy strategies, and marketing efforts.
• Manage financials, budgeting, purchasing, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing regulations and HUD requirements.
