Job summary

EJF Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Property Manager to lead day-to-day property operations at our DC-area residential properties. You will serve as the main resident contact, manage communications, events, and compliance, and support Board activities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in residential property management, strong customer service, and proficient MS Office skills. Full‑time onsite role with some evenings/weekends; salary range $65,000–$75,000 with a discretionary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bilingual: Spanish required.
• Full-time onsite with occasional evening/weekend commitments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to conduct property walkthroughs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential property management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the property’s primary point of contact for residents and guests.
• Coordinate resident communications and community events.
• Assist Board with record keeping and organizational responsibilities; take and distribute meeting minutes.
• Monitor operations, vendor performance, and adherence to policies.
• Maintain compliance with governing documents and jurisdictional requirements.
• Support budget preparation and financial monitoring for the property.
