Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our Garden‑style properties. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make‑ready preparations for new move‑ins.

The role requires attention to safety, proper documentation, and teamwork with the maintenance team. You will work on Monday–Friday with rotating on‑call, involving possible evening/weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Experience in completing work orders and preventative maintenance per policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per safety standards.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Access materials and manage inventory; notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and basic repairs as needed.
