Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks while coordinating with vendors as needed.

The role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine and preventative maintenance on residential properties.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify defects and repair needs.
• Commitment to safety policies and compliance with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property per policies and code requirements.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Manages inventory and sources materials, notifying supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assists with grounds, common areas, and Amenity maintenance including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost‑control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible.
