Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of properties meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. The role involves quick diagnostics, making repairs, and supporting make-ready tasks to prepare units for new residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, conducting preventative maintenance, managing inventory, and documenting tasks.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work completed.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying the maintenance supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents and records service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and reporting.
