Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality in common areas and units. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Incumbents will work on-site, handle work orders and preventative maintenance, maintain inventory, and complete required safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state/local certifications as required for the role.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on-property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Accesses materials and tools from the maintenance department; tracks inventory and notifies when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
