Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical areas of our properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

You will complete work orders, perform make-ready tasks, manage supplies, document results, and assist in inspections and general grounds maintenance. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends may be required, with occasional travel to other properties.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting curbs, and debris removal.
• Assists in cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Assists in conducting routine inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.

Education
