Job summary

Greystar in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance across buildings, grounds and amenities, diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will participate in make-ready, inventories, and vendor coordination while following Greystar policies. EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied weather are required. Company offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications may be required for all Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing causes and repairing per policies and codes.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant apartments, pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials and inventory, track usage, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document all service requests promptly and accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning, painting, and upkeep of curbs/signage as needed.
• Assist in cost control by repairing instead of replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
