Essex-Property-Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Fremont, CA. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances) and repair interior/exterior features to maintain property value and resident satisfaction.

You will prepare vacant units, inspect common areas, and follow safety regulations while staying on-site five days a week. Strong English communication and time management are essential; HVAC/CPO license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC and/or CPO license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Repair and maintain interior and exterior features of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and ensure units meet standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
