Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support community upkeep in Cypress, TX. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units while upholding Greystar standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, tool proficiency, and a commitment to resident service. Flexible scheduling and teamwork with the Community Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience acceptable.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and read documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues from resident service requests and perform repairs per policies.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes, schedule vendors, and complete punch lists.
• Develop cleanliness standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and stay within budget; assist with budget planning.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to complaints with urgency.
