Job summary

American Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Support role in Albuquerque, NM. The position focuses on on-site tenant relations, unit tours, and delivering superior customer service within a 236-unit property.

Flexibility and reliability are essential in this fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a team to maintain market knowledge, generate reports, and ensure a positive resident experience from application to move-in.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service is required.
• 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
• Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight the qualities and selling points of the property/units.
• Handle customer and tenant relations and ensure all issues are addressed promptly with high-level service.
• Maintain knowledge of the current area market.
• Prepare and maintain reports for managers.
• Host community events and ensure compliance with American Property Management’s Quality Standards.
• Assist residents from beginning to end of the rental process.
