Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Manager in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports the Community Manager in financial and operational aspects of the community.

The position focuses on resident relations, reports, and ensuring compliance with policies while driving occupancy and retention. Responsibilities include overseeing file management, handling evictions coordination with counsel, processing applications, and maintaining property readiness.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous, professional service.
• Collect all monies due, oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by inspecting units.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during evictions.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files; enter data in property management software.
• Oversee renter's insurance procedures and deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for showing and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational material.
• Perform outreach marketing and shop surrounding properties to identify opportunities.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
