Job summary

You will provide overall operational direction, manage task plans, and oversee technical execution across matrixed teams supporting meteorology, calibration laboratories, and infrastructure systems. This role requires strong leadership, program risk management, and excellent communication with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and make decisions under pressure.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed office environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for project tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction for BPA operational support functions with multiple inter-related tasks.
• Develop and review task plans, staff assignments, and weekly milestones; ensure schedules and costs are met.
• Serve as primary on-site interface with government leadership and stakeholders.
• Supervise contractor staff across Test, Field Support, Quality Management, and Maintenance Support.
• Compile weekly progress reports and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Monitor spend plans, project risks, and resource allocations; coordinate with government leads.
