Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Site Leader to provide world-class jobsite leadership for large, long‑duration projects in California. You will be the on-site Vertiv technical representative from start to finish, driving safety, schedule, cost controls and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading start-up and commissioning of power and/or HVAC equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial construction management.
• Six years military experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team, including project leaders, installers, technicians and subcontractors.
• Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate schedule requirements.
• Lead start-up, site testing, and ensure adequate on-site manpower.
• Provide daily status reports to Service Management, Project Management and sales.
• Maintain safety by leading toolbox talks and enforcing Vertiv safety policies.
