Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co in Ogden, UT is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the EP&T Group with project planning, scheduling, and coordination. This onsite role reports to the Capital Manager and is located in Ogden, UT.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience; SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office skills are preferred. The base salary range is $69,200 to $86,500 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience in a related role.
• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree or higher would be nice to have.
• Proficiency using Microsoft tools (MS Office).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP.
• Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter purchase requisitions for the EP&T Group in SAP to support RFQs, POs, and CNs.
• Track status of POs; follow up with vendors and obtain parts.
• Update milestones and project schedules; facilitate creating new schedules for future projects.
• Help with communications between Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality.
• Support Project Managers and Project Engineers with submittals for projects.
• Help determine the initial Preventative Maintenance list for new equipment.
• Follow up with vendors for invoicing.
• Assist in closing Change Control Process (CCP) documentation.
• Coordinate vendors for unescorted access requests.
• Add new vendors to the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Work with PMs to capitalize equipment after implementation.
• Escort vendors on plant site during shutdown.
