Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Engineering Projects and Technology group in Ogden, UT. You will handle project planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination, reporting to the Capital Manager and working 100% onsite.

The role emphasizes SAP procurement, project scheduling, and vendor coordination, with collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree or higher would be nice to have.
• Proficiency using Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP.
• Familiarity with working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter purchase requisitions for the EP&T Group in SAP to support RFQ, PO, and CN issuance.
• Track status of PO's and follow up with vendors to obtain parts.
• Update milestone and detailed project schedules; create new schedules for projects.
• Facilitate communications between Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality regarding projects.
• Support Project Managers and Project Engineers with sending/receiving submittals.
• Assist in determining initial Preventive Maintenance list for new equipment.
• Coordinate vendor invoicing follow-ups.
• Assist with CCP documentation closure.
• Coordinate vendors for unescorted access requests.
• Add new vendors to the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Collaborate with PMs to capitalize equipment after implementation.
• Escort vendors on plant site during shutdown.
