Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design, optimize, and ensure the reliability of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems supporting manufacturing processes at the Columbia, SC facility, with 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Expertise in instrumentation, controls, and power systems.
• Experience with DCS/PLC platforms.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and process control principles.

Responsibilities

• Support upgrade projects involving I&C and power activities.
• Implement rapid response plant modifications from design through startup.
• Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Coordinate and direct the efforts of designers and craft personnel during implementation of projects.
• Create project schedules and budgets. Track progress and spending.
• Develop scopes of work and bid packages.
• Support and work with other plant groups including Operations, Maintenance, Work Management and Reliability Engineering.
• Participate in hazard and safety analysis reviews.
