Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100/AS9145 or MDA provisions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal and sub-tier suppliers via PO requirements, quality notes, and supplier statements of work.
• Interpret program requirements to ensure the supply base understands and complies with quality requirements.
• Engage on strategic and tactical levels focusing on quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Drive continuous product/process improvements by identifying supplier risk and implementing corrective actions.
• Apply APQP processes related to supplier performance and engage to improve supplier manufacturing processes.
• Travel up to 25% to support supplier assessments, audits, reviews.
• Represent quality during review boards covering supplier changes, qualification tests, and procedures.
• Interface with the program team in Tucson, AZ on onsite schedule; some travel expected.
• Provide input during changes to supplier designs and processes.
