Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Manager of Quality Engineering for our Foley MRO site. You will report to the General Manager and drive both operational and strategic quality initiatives to support aerospace maintenance activities.

You will lead QA/QE teams, manage audits, investigate non-conformances, and ensure compliance with site and enterprise procedures. Strong aerospace quality background required.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace structures.
• Strong background in quality within an aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA/QE department employees, assign duties and track performance.
• Oversee all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Provide strategic guidance to improve Quality Assurance across the facility.
• Coordinate multi-level quality audits to ensure compliance with site and enterprise procedures.
• Track non-conformances and countermeasures; assist in root-cause analysis.
• Lead investigations of customer escapes and non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and maintain relationships with operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with site and enterprise procedures and policies.
• Serve as liaison to certification bodies and customer representatives for quality.
• Maintain approved vendors list and manage vendor audits.
