Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to uphold quality standards across products and processes. You will perform audits, inspect using hand tools, and collaborate with engineers to address nonconformities and implement corrective actions.

The role emphasizes data collection, analysis, and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and customer specs.
• 4 years of experience in defining problems, collecting data, and drawing conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality analyses through audits, process walks, and surveillance to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to address nonconforming materials and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in managing process corrective actions and containment of suspect products.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, customer specifications, purchase orders, and instructions.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment to perform quality inspections.
• Collect and analyze data to identify problems and establish solutions.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
