Job summary

OPW, part of Dover Corporation, is seeking a Production Supervisor for onsite operations in Ball Ground, Georgia. You will lead daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while aligning with SQDC goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with 2+ years in supervision, strong welding/fabrication process knowledge, and proficiency with ERP/MRP; AWS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training encouraged.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing with 2+ years in supervision in fabrication or welding.
• AWS certification preferred but not required unless needed for duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Plan labor and overtime within guidelines; allocate resources based on requirements.
• Monitor KPIs like first-pass yield, scrap, backlog, and schedule attainment.
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Enforce standard work, safety procedures, and proper equipment calibration.
