Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the hourly production team, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage daily workflows, coordinate with supply chain and quality teams, and maintain production targets.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in a manufacturing leadership role, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
• Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours when required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production team members; ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure targets are met safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance.
• Be knowledgeable of company policies and engage appropriate resources when required.
• Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies/procedures.
• Build and sustain morale among reporting associates.
• Initiate requisitions for open positions; interview and determine best candidate.
• Document associate skills to create a skills matrix of training needs and accomplishments.
• Capture/analyze data regarding productivity and identify causes of high/low output.
• Direct resources to meet production requirements and procurement needs.
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP for all direct reports.
• Enforce safety rules to ensure safety of associates and facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
