Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily production planning, assign tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and drive efficiency while ensuring quality and safety.

The role partners with operations leadership and cross‑functional teams to align manufacturing strategy, manage schedules, and develop staff across shifts, with a focus on compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year(s) of experience with ERP systems.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and coordinate daily operations.
• Use ERP/MRP system to create work orders and build production schedules.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the shop floor.
• Hire, train, and lead production supervisors and floor workers across shifts.
• Collaborate with facility functions to ensure on-time, high-quality output.
