Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Garden Grove, CA, is seeking a Production Planner to link customer demand with plant operations and procurement. You will create, optimize, and maintain master production schedules to maximize throughput and ensure on-time delivery in a high-mix aerospace environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of scheduling experience, AS9100/ISO9001 exposure, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel/BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in production scheduling or master planning in high-mix manufacturing.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 quality management systems preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred (CPIM/CSCP).
• Strong Excel (Power Query, Pivot) and BI tools for capacity modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules across lines and work centers.
• Perform RCCP and line-level capacity analyses to balance labor, machinery, and materials.
• Optimize safety stock, reorder points, and EOQ to minimize stockouts.
• Monitor WIP and drive improvements to OTIF and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with Production and Procurement to align material delivery with start dates.
