Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while meeting customer commitments. You will oversee Production Leads and Assemblers and drive disciplined execution to optimize labor, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, managing shifts, and partnering with cross-functional groups to remove barriers and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience supervising manufacturing teams.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, routers, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of AS9100, Lean, 5S, FOD prevention, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve OTD, schedule attainment, output, labor efficiency, and productivity goals.
• Maintain a highly visible, hands-on presence on the floor, coaching staff and removing barriers.
• Execute daily production schedule aligning labor, equipment, and materials to customer demand.
• Partner with Operations Manager and leads to optimize capacity, labor, throughput, and performance.
• Monitor performance and quickly resolve safety, quality, or delivery issues.
