Job summary

Ultium Cells, LLC is seeking a Production Engineer for our Spring Hill, Tennessee site. This onsite role supports continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment, and optimizing manufacturing processes in a highly automated environment.

You will interact with internal and external customers and vendors to solve problems, drive yield and productivity, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 1-3+ years in continuous improvement/manufacturing in automated environments.
• English reading and speaking required.
• PFMEA/Process controls knowledge helpful but not required.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and quality goals are achieved through teamwork and communication.
• Train and develop Operators for success and future opportunities.
• Optimize production schedule, oversee quality control, and complete projects on time.
• Improve safety, environment, quality, responsiveness, and cost in daily duties.
• Identify controllable failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance and facility teams to reduce downtime.
• Analyze costs and maximize production processes.
• Approve expenditures for supplies and vendor services.
• Support budgeting and financial impact analyses with accounting.
