Ultium Cells LLC, a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and General Motors, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer in Spring Hill, TN. This hands-on, non-managerial role focuses on delivering measurable improvements across Production, Quality, Maintenance and Safety, aligned with SPQRCE metrics.

You will develop and implement improvement projects on the shop floor, lead cross-functional teams through data-driven decision making, and drive cost reduction while maintaining safe

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and CI methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
• Hands-on design and implementation of process improvements.

Mansioni

• Develop, scope, and implement CI projects on the floor to deliver technical solutions.
• Identify automation opportunities and support their implementation.
• Lead structured problem solving (PDCA, DMAIC, A3, 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) to drive root-cause resolution.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to align priorities.
• Track budgets and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop CI roadmaps and sustainment of improvements.
• Standardize improvements and update PFMEAs and control plans.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support KPI governance with accurate data visibility.
• Drive 6S and visual controls on the shop floor.
• Stay updated on manufacturing trends and technologies.
