Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Test Engineer (PTE) to support the test process across product development, transition to production, and sustainment. You will troubleshoot hardware, maintain test equipment, and lead improvements to test time and yields.

Requirements include a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain ATF clearance. Onsite role with relocation eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides rework instructions for product hardware.
• Maintains spares and test equipment obsolescence plans.
• Develops bases of estimates to forecast costs for capacity and equipment upgrades.
• Leads projects to reduce test time and improve test processes and yields.
• Maintains test equipment data packages and related documentation.
• Assists in fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of product or test equipment.
• Leads root cause investigations and presents findings.
