Job summary

ITS Logistics in York, PA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, oversee procurement of supplies, materials and equipment, and ensure timely delivery across multiple campuses. Qualifications

• Two+ years procurement experience, preferably in a distribution center setting.
• Excellent organizational and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task for multiple business groups.

Responsibilities

• Create, place, and track purchase orders for supplies and equipment supporting multiple clients across a single ITS Distribution Services warehouse campus.
• Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability, product quality, responsiveness, and service levels, escalating concerns and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Source new vendors and evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, quality, and service to support business needs.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, service agreements, and other terms to maximize value while maintaining quality.
• Communicate regularly with Operations and Administrative teams, handling purchase requests and assisting with questions related to past purchases.
• Interface with clients, as required, to place potential purchases at their request.
• Assist in creation and maintenance of SOPs related to purchasing and vendor management.
• Other duties as assigned.
