Job summary

ITS Logistics, LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, place and track purchase orders across multiple Distribution Services campuses, and ensure timely delivery of essential goods. You will drive cost-effective purchasing decisions while maintaining service continuity and strong supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, negotiating terms with vendors, and collaborating with Operations to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• Two + years of procurement experience, preferably in a distribution center setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, place, and track purchase orders for supplies, materials, and equipment across ITS Distribution Services campuses.
• Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability, product quality, and service levels; escalate and implement corrective actions.
• Source new vendors and evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, quality, and service to support business needs.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, service agreements, and other terms to maximize value while maintaining quality.
• Communicate regularly with Operations and Administrative teams, handling purchase requests and questions on past purchases.
• Interface with clients to place purchases at their request and assist with SOP creation and maintenance.
